When considering SOLE ellipticals, this brand offers plenty of features with each machine. In fact, SOLE ellipticals are considered to be among the best in the world. Thanks to a high quality standard, you can always expect SOLE equipment to be sturdy and durable. They also provide users with a vast amount of resistance levels, various on-board programs, and even entertainment features to keep your mind off the actual workout.
One of the benefits we enjoy is these heart rate monitor that comes with a chest strap. This gives the user a very accurate reading, no matter how challenging the resistance setting might be. It also utilizes pulse grips, which helps you stay in your target heart zone. It’s a great way to keep your heart healthy and get an unbelievable workout at the same time.
We have done reviews on a few Sole ellipticals, and all of them are more expensive than most of their competitors. However, for the type of quality they give every user, any of them would be considered a smart choice.
Sole E95 Elliptical
The Sole E95 is considered by most to be the best Sole elliptical available. It offers extreme high quality and has a host of features that make elliptical users swoon. Probably one of the most beneficial features involves the motor-adjusted incline ramp. This makes it easy to adjust your stride, which stretches from 20 inches to 22 inches. This is a shorter span than most ellipticals, but it is really the only obstacle we see with the Sole E95 elliptical machine.
The E95 also comes with adjustable foot pedals, which makes it more comfortable for taller users to work out. The pedals can also be adjusted to the way your body moves, which is very beneficial, because it reduces the stress on your joints. There are also two different ways to adjust this elliptical:
- Hand grip controls
The Sole E95 also comes with a durable flywheel. Any time you see a heavy flywheel, you know the machine has a high-quality build and is very sturdy.
Sole E35 Elliptical
Elliptical users needing a balance between the features and price; typically choose the Sole E35. This model also has a heavy flywheel for durability, and a much higher gear ratio than its counterparts. In all there are 20 different resistance levels, so even advanced users will find this elliptical machine challenging.
The Sole E35 also comes with an adjustable incline ramp, so you can tailor this model to fit your fitness goals. We also found this machine to be one of the easiest to assemble out of the box. Unfortunately the entertainment system doesn’t compare to the E95 version.
If you like quiet ellipticals, this might not be the best choice. When you push on the pedals during a workout, they tend to be a bit squeaky. However, if you can hold out for the first 3 weeks, once you break them in they can be primed and lubricated. Users who take the time to do this will notice the squeaky noises disappear. Then, all you have to do is lubricate the foot rails every once in a while.
Sole E25 Elliptical
Before purchasing the Sole E25, it’s important to consider the short frame. It’s much smaller than some of the other Sole ellipticals, so taller users might find it uncomfortable. In addition, the stride length only reaches 22 inches, so individuals with a height disadvantage will be better suited for this model.
The E25 is also one of the most expensive options on our website. However, more expensive prices come with better quality, features, and workouts. For instance, this model is extremely quiet and smooth. If you live in an apartment or just need to “Keep it down;” no one will here you working out. There are also 10 different workout programs (some models only offer 5-8).
Some of the other benefits associated with the E25 elliptical machine are:
- Advanced Sensor Systems
- Additional Resistance
- Custom Foot Pedals
- Four Rear Wheels for more stability
- Variable Positions
